About us
Andrew has spent over 30 years helping leadership teams work out how to make change actually happen, not just the strategy on the page, but the messy human reality of getting organisations to move.
That’s where Longdogs started. Now it’s where three decades of experience meets today’s challenges, led by Andrew and his son Alister and backed by a network of specialists we partner with for full-service advisory.
We’re small, trusted, and deeply practical.
When it came to naming the firm, inspiration was close to home. We've shared our lives with Dachshunds for many years, and their personalities, bright, determined, cheeky, and endlessly creative, it felt like the perfect reflection of how we work. Small but mighty, tenacious in the face of a challenge, and always ready to find a clever way forward.
We’re not a big consulting firm with layers of bureaucracy. We’re a family business built on real experience, backed by specialists we genuinely trust, and focused on helping organisations (and individuals) solve the problems that matter.
